If you'd like to be included as talent in The Blackwell Files we would be happy to consider you. Please email your submission directly to us, per the instructions below. Due to the volume of submissions we receive, we cannot always respond personally, but we greatly appreciate you taking the time to reach out! Please note that we review submissions weekly and will contact you if we think you are a good fit.
Categories: Kids (age 5 & up), Teens, Adults, Seniors. No Experience Necessary.
Requirements: IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED, YOU OR YOUR CHILD MUST:
- Be a U.S. resident (or green card holder)
- Live in or near the Bay Area
- Be able to commit to at least one year of participation with our agency
- Have a semi-flexible schedule & be available for weekday shoots. Our projects take place during the week and during business hours.
- Be able to book work directly and not have an exclusive agreement with another agency.
- Conduct yourself in a responsible and professional manner at all castings & photo shoots
- Be 5 years of age or older
- Have a parent/guardian involved in the process, if you are under 18 years old. All children must have a valid entertainment work permit (see below) and their point-of-contact must be a parent or guardian. PLEASE NOTE: An 18-year-old that is in high school is still considered a minor.
IMPORTANT NOTES FOR KIDS:
- You must be willing to take your child out of school if they are booked on a project. If your child is involved in a lot of extra-curriculars that will make it difficult for them to attend castings or shoots, the Blackwell Files may not be the best fit for them.
- If your child currently has braces, please do not have them apply until after they get their braces off. We understand that many kids often have to get braces, but please keep in mind that the majority of our clients are looking for children without them. Please keep us notified if your child is in the database and ends up getting braces at a later time.
- If your child is selected for a shoot, you will need to arrange childcare for any other children you have. Only the child who is booked is allowed to be on set, with ONE parent or guardian.
